Q: How can I purchase NXPowerLite?
A: There are a number of ways in which you can purchase NXPowerLite:
Credit or debit card online: The quickest, simplest way to buy NXPowerLite. Secure card transactions are managed and guaranteed by WorldPay, one of the world's most trusted e-commerce suppliers.
Telephone: Call our UK sales office on +44 (0)207 424 8700, any time between 9am and 5pm GMT Monday-Friday. Our sales team will be happy to take your card details and process your order.
Business purchase order: We will accept business purchase orders, as long as they are provided on your official company letterhead. Please fax all business purchase orders to +44 (0)207 424 8701.
Cheque: Please send cheques to NXPowerLite Orders, Neuxpower Solutions Ltd, Studio 400 Highgate Studios, 53-79 Highgate Road, London NW5 1TL, United Kingdom. Please note that we will be unable to complete your order until we have received and cashed you cheque.
Software Resellers: NXPowerLite is available to purchase from software resellers in more than 40 countries. Contact us to find a reseller in your area.
Q: Which currencies do you accept?
A: We accept payment in US Dollars, British Pounds and Euros.
Q: If I purchase NXPowerLite will I receive support, software upgrades etc. for free?
A: Free technical support is provided to registered users via our support center, and minor upgrades (such as 3.1 to 3.2) are available to registered customers free of charge. There is a small fee for major upgrades (such as 2.5 to 3.0). Registered users can purchase cost-effective Annual Maintenance, which entitles them to priority technical support and free major upgrades.
Q: I've just purchased a copy of NXPowerLite. How will I receive the software?
A: You should receive two email messages shortly after your purchase has been completed. The first message will contain your purchase receipt, the second your registration details. To activate the full version of NXPowerLite, start the trial version (which you can get from our Download page) and click on the 'Enter code' button. Then simply enter your registration details exactly as they appear in the email message. There are no additional downloads required and you will only need to enter your registration details once.
Q: Is NXPowerLite available on CD?
A: We're afraid not. To keep the price of NXPowerLite low, the software is only available as a download. Manufacturing, packaging and distribution costs would, unfortunately, increase the price of NXPowerLite significantly.
Q: Do you have a GSA Schedule contract?
A: We are not currently a GSA Schedule contractor, but a number of our resellers are. If you work for a US Federal agency and are only permitted to purchase software through GSA Schedule contractors, you can buy NXPowerLite from Softmart.
Q: I'm unable to reach you via telephone. Is something wrong?
A: Our main sales office is in the UK, where our telephone lines are manned between 9am and 5pm GMT Monday-Friday. Outside of these hours, please leave a message and somebody will get back to you. If you are calling from outside the UK, be sure to dial the correct international dialling code from your country (for example, '011' from North America or '00' from much of Europe), followed by 44 207 424 8700. If you're calling from within the UK, you simply need to dial 0207 424 8700.
Q: I've lost my registration code. Can you tell me what it is?
A: If you can't find your registration code, you can use our registration reminder tool. Simply enter your email address and we will automatically email your registration code to you. Please ensure that you use the email address that you originally used to purchase NXPowerLite.
Q: My registration code doesn't seem to work. Can you help me?
A: The most accurate way to enter your registration code is to 'copy and paste' it from the email we sent you. If this doesn’t work, please contact us and we will look into it for you.
Q: What is Annual Maintenance?
A: Annual Maintenance entitles you to priority support and free major upgrades. Organizations that purchase Annual Maintenance also benefit from ‘add-on pricing’, which ensures that they always pay the lowest possible price for additional licenses. Annual maintenance costs 15% of the original purchase price and is payable annually. For further information, see the Maintenance Agreement.
Q: Do I need to pay to switch between using the Desktop Edition and Stand-Alone Edition of NXPowerLite?
A: No. Registered NXPowerLite users are free to switch between using NXPowerLite Desktop Edition and NXPowerLite Stand-Alone. Your NXPowerLite registration code will work with both products.
Q: Do I need to pay to switch between using the Desktop Edition and File Server Edition of NXPowerLite?
A: Yes. NXPowerLite File Server Edition is priced differently to the Desktop Edition. If you are interested in switching to the File Server Edition, please contact us for a quote.
Q: Can I get a refund if I change my mind about purchasing?
A: You may obtain a refund if you (a) do not use the software and (b) notify Neuxpower in writing, with proof of payment, within 30 days of the purchase date.
